Voices of the Diaspora Black History Month Book Drive

Join the Brothers of Cary Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated for our Inaugural "Voices of the Diaspora Black History Month Book Drive"!

This Black History Month, help us put inspiring books in the hands of K-12 students in Wake and Durham County. With book bans on the rise, it’s more important than ever to ensure young readers have access to stories that celebrate Black voices.

We’re collecting 100+ books by legendary authors like Maya Angelou, James Baldwin, Toni Morrison, Langston Hughes, Alice Walker, Zora Neale Hurston, and Ta-Nehisi Coates—stories that educate, empower, and inspire.

Join us in making a difference. Every book donated amplifies the voices of the diaspora and helps shape the next generation of thinkers and leaders. Let’s exceed our goal together!
